Rescue is my long awaited Selkirk Rex boy who came all the way from Holland .

Rescue is my lovely Cream Colour point curly selkirk rex stud boy , he was bred by lovely Lianne & Han's Pon's of Van Brifety cattery in Holland who have done such a good job with raising him .
He is such a lovely big boy and oh so soft , so much so that the above picture was taken about an hour after he arrive in the UK .
Rescue arrive in the UK on 1st July 2010 thanks to the help of Tricia Palmer of Tishkabar cattery who kindly collected Rescue for me .
No sooner than he was let out of his cat carrier once we had arrived at my home he came out purring & just wanted cuddles . He his so loving & get's on really well with everyone , especially my cousin's two little girl's .
He is truly a credit to both of his breeders and I am so very grateful that they have entrusted me with such a lovely lad .

However due to the Selkirk Rex being a new breed and the fact that Rescue brings new lines to the UK i am happy to work with like minded breeders in order to improve the gene pool of the breed once i have seen what Rescue can produce .

but a few .

Uggs on the law as a kitten
Uggs has lovely Selkirk Rex type , with a nice strong muzzle and lovely medium ear's with lovely big blue eyes .
His coat is not to short or too long , it's just perfect length for his lovely curls to be shown off .
He
has a lovely stocky build to him and is still only a baby , he is from
slow to mature lines so i am very pleased with how he's growing .
The
future for Uggs looks to be very promising and i am looking forwards to
letting him have one of two litters before being neutered and being my
show neuter boy .
Uggs has so far attended 5 show , one as a
Kitten where he had a red card day and left me in shock as i did not
expect him to do so well being my first home bred boy and such a little
lad .
Next was Ragtime TICA show , Uggs was a few days over 8 months
so just into the adult class , i took him just to see how he would take
to TICA showing .
He loved the show and all the attention he was getting all day long .
Again
Uggs left me in shock as he was placed 1st and BOB in all his classes
and went on to make 4 all breed finals out of the 6 finals on offer
getting placed at 10th , 8th , 4th and 1st Best Cat .

Uggs
attended his first GCCF adult show at just over 9 months of age where
he once again shocked me by getting 1st in his open class and winning
his 1st CC but that was not enough for Uggs he then went on to get BOB .
A big thank you to all his judges .
His next GCCF adult show was attended on April 9th 2011 where he got 1st in his open BOB and gained his 2nd CC
Then
Uggs went to his 3rd/4th Show which was a joint show held on 23rd April
2011 where he went on to get 1st in both is Open classes gaining two
more CC's and various other 1st in side classes making him A GCCF
Champion at Just 11 months of age :-)
I am so proud of him and what he has done & just want to say a big thank you to all his judges .

Uggs with some of his some win's
Uggs
will be staying with me , we will be doing some showing and Uggs may
have one or two litter's of very special kittens in the future , so
watch the space .
Uggs carries the dilute gene and may also carry the long hair and tabby gene .

Mungo
is my very special boy , he is a very rare Red silver shaded tabby colour point
Selkirk Rex Variant ( I Believe the first to be bred in the UK ) who was bred by accident by my good friend Sarah Walker of Boucles Selkirk Rex .
For
ages i had dreamed of one day having a silver shaded colour point
selkirk rex but thought it would be a very distant dream .....
However as luck would have it Sarah managed to breed Mungo completely by luck !
Mungo is a dream to own and a lovely chunky lad who is a super chilled
out boy , he purrs as soon as you look at him and loves nothing more than cuddles .
Mungo has fab type and the best temp you could ever wish for , which i hope he will pass on to his children .
Mungo
is my foundation Silver colour pointed line that i hope will help to
produce and strengthen this colour in the breed here in the UK .
Mungo
will be mated to my Curly girl Crinkles Charlie in mid 2011 in hope of
producing a curly silver colour point kitten to help get this lovely
colour out at show's .
Mungo will have a couple of litters with me and then be neutered .
I
am sure that the more people see the silver colour pointed out and
about at show's , the more they will fall in love with them .
Mungo
will be shown as a pedigree pet with GCCF and TICA until he is around 8
months where he will them take some time out to mature before becoming
a daddy .
Mungo will also be out at show up and down the county on Exhibition in late 2011 to show everyone that curls don't matter lol

Mungo
attended his first ever show where he did so well getting 1st in his
open class and BOB plus doing really well in his side classes and even
winning a little cup :-)
A big thank you to all his judge and to all the people who were so kind to Mungo all day , he really enjoyed the cuddles .
Last
but by know means least i need to say the biggest thank you to Sarah
Walker Mungo's breeder for letting me have this most stunning boy &
for all your help getting me into the breed & help at shows ,oh and
one last thank you to Mr F for getting me hooked on the Selkirk breed
even before i was lucky enough to own one :-)
