Sundance

This page is for pass breeding studs / queens that have helped to make Sassygems Ragdoll's what they are today .
Without these lovely ladies & gents non of this would have been possible .
They have all made an enormous contribution to the breed & to my breeding However there comes a time when they must sadly move onto new loving homes .

It is very sad having to let a love one go but at the same time it is also not possible for me to keep improving the breed if i do not do this very hard / sad thing .
I feel that after all the help they have given me they should be able to enjoy being family pets & get as much attention as they want .


Saskia Sky Dancer



Saskia  or Sassy as she is fondly know at home .
She is a Seal colour point Ragdoll and was my first breeding queen and the reason that i chose to have SassyGems as my prefix .
She was the founder of  my breeding programe and  very much the reason that i fell in love with ragdolls .
It is for this reason i felt that she should always be at the for front of  my breeding program.
Sassy  is  a very loving girl  however she is the boss over all my other cats and my two dog .
Sassy  has had some lovely kittens in the past and  these can be see on my past kittens pages .
She is the mum of Micsha and Toytown .
She was shown when she was younger at IFA  show where she gained  Grand  champion  .
Saskia will be Retiring in 2008 knowing Sassy she will  keep a watchful eye on all at SassyGems  and make sure none of the others put's a paws out of line !
I would  like to say a big thanks to her breeder for entrusting her to me .

Purrfurus Red Sundance



This is my Lovely Red tabby colour point who carries dilute
He was bred by the late Del Anderson .
His granddad is IMP CH Pandapaws Chico who was a stunning cat .
His Grandma is Kimsdolls Aisha one of the first tabby point to be imported into the UK .

Sundance has had some lovely litters of kittens and has really helped my breeding program .
He is the father of Toytown , Escala & Evissa who can be seen on the other pages of my website .

Sundance is so loving and  always wants to be around people .
It is for this reason that i have made the hard choice to have him neutered and he has found a  loving forever pet home .

Poppet



Poppet is a Seal colour point like Saskia .
I chose Her for her stunning eyes and  good size .
She has  a lovely temperament and nice deep blue eyes which she always passes on to all her kittens .
Poppet has never been shown herself but her kittens always do well on the show bench .
She is mum to Orchid  and  ToTo who you can see on the other pages of my site .
poppet is very much a mummy's girl loves being cuddled at all times .
Poppet has mated to Mercutio later in the year   , This will be  her  last litter of kittens

Pettle



Like her sister Pettle is a seal colour point she and Poppet are the best of friends , they just love each other so much .
I fell  for Pettle because she had the most beautiful  old look  and the most loving nature .
I only intended to have one but fell in love with her so she had to come with Poppet to .
Pettle has not been shown yet but i hope to get her out soon.
She has had some lovely kittens which can be seen on the past kittens page .
She is the mum of  PR Champion Bouden Blues ( Lazlo) who had done well on the show bench and  Champion Sassygems Daddies Girl  ( Atucia) who has been doing well at show's .
Pettle will be mated  for the last time soon 
A big thanks goes out to Val  of Cadence Ragdolls for allowing me to have these lovely girls and of  course my lovely lad to !

Lucia

Lucia is a blue tabby colour point she is the most loving cat and just craves attention .
She is very much my little baby and will  just flop when you pick her up , everyone who comes to see my cat's want's to leave with Lucia .
Her Gran was KimsDolls Aisha who was one of the first tabby point to be brought to the UK by the late Del Anderson

Lucia  sadly was never  able to have kittens which is a real shame as she is such a stunning girl ,
Lucia is able to be shown but has never attended any shows however if her new owner  wished  this is something they could do as she's such a lovely girl .
Now retired
*Lucia has found  a loving pet home  with her friend Little T *
Both will be missed very much but are enjoying being  forever pet's  .
